In every home and every room, some items provide a backdrop. Thomas Pheasant envisioned the Facet Chest as one of those building blocks-and as evidence that restraint doesn't work against luxury. The architectural character of the form is understated and easily mixed, whether in the bedroom or any other location requiring substantial storage. At the same time, the cast Bronze ribbon pulls suggest a meticulously considered bespoke item. The top is oversized with canted corners and a striped mahogany field, complementing the long horizontal surface. Nine flush drawers are arranged in quietly graphic banks of three, each in flat-cut mahogany, with the cathedrals running vertically. The Bronze ribbon pulls offer a textured organic finish, the tactile reward of an open loop, and the polished look of careful use on both the edges and the interior. Short flared legs add a hint of lightness.
